House District 94:
Lewiston
“Seeing how hard my parents worked just to get by, and seeing how much working people struggle to survive inspires and guides me in how I serve and support our community.
I've always tried to see things through the eyes of other people - and to think about those who might need a little more help than others.”
About Scott
Scott is a lifelong Mainer who was recently elected to his third consecutive term on the Lewiston City Council. He is also serving his second term as the Council’s representative on the Lewiston School Committee.
Growing up on a dairy farm, Scott knows the value of hard work - and how hard it can be to get ahead when times are tough.
Scott cares about Lewiston. He shows up. Scott understands that Lewiston people are struggling to make ends meet, and he cares about serving the people he represents to help them get what they need.
As our representative, Scott will:
Deliver tax reform and funding for programs to help older Mainers and working-class families afford groceries, prescriptions, heating oil, and electricity.
Support efforts to make housing, health care and childcare more affordable.
Direct more funding to Lewiston’s public schools and after-school programs to keep our kids safe and supported.
Ensure that our immigrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking neighbors are protected.
Defend our democracy by resisting federal overreach, protecting voting rights, and strengthening civic engagement.
